A Preferred Partnership Agreement between Khmer Times and Aquarii BD was signed this morning to formally announce their collaboration.  Mr T Mohan, Publisher of Khmer Times, and Mr Michael Tan, Chief Executive Office of Aquarii BD (Cambodia) were the respective signatories.

Under the Preferred Partnership Agreement, both Khmer Times and Aquarii agree to mutually promote each other’s platforms and exchange information, updates, and developing news on business and investment in the Kingdom. They will also collaborate, where appropriate and feasible, in the areas of cross-advertising and promotion of their respective business clients’ areas of interest. Through this partnership, they are committed to individually and collectively addressing outdated perceptions of the Kingdom, and where possible lowering any trust deficit that foreign businesses and investors may have of the country and its pro-business policies.

Through its free access online business platform at www.aquariibd.com which went ‘live’ on 17 February 2022, foreign businesses and investors can easily source for service providers, business counterparts, or investment partners in Cambodia on their own and connect with them directly at no fee or charge. They are also not obligated to work with Aquarii or engage its advisory service. Businesses in Cambodia that are members of IndoCham (or other chambers/associations that are strategic partners with Aquarii) can also be included in the platform’s Business Directory, if they choose to, and be recognized as a member of a specific chamber in the filtered search results of the Business Directory.

“Through strategic collaboration with like-minded and credible preferred partners such as Khmer Times, our goal is to help foreign businesses and investors lower their trust deficit and bridge any outdated perception they may have of Cambodia. With the strong readership numbers that Khmer Times commands and its reach to a very diverse audience, it is a also good advertisement platform for our clients and foreign businesses that wish to raise awareness of their products, services and branding. Concurrently, we hope to be able to raise awareness of the utility of our online free-access business platform through Khmer Times”, explains Michael Tan, Founder Director of & CEO of Aquarii BD Cambodia.

Mr Mohan added that “Khmer Times is always looking for the right strategic partners to collaborate. With this partnership with Aquarii, we look forward to delivering up-to-date news and perspectives on domestic developments that business owners and leaders would want to pay attention to and expand our reach to a wider audience of businesses and investors. I believe this partnership with Aquarii is a win-win collaboration for both of us.”
