As we move into Q2 of 2023, Cambodia still looks on track to solid growth despite global economic downturns.
ADB forecasted that its GDP would grow at 5.5 percent and 6.0 percent in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Cambodia has the third highest growth in Southeast Asia after Vietnam (6.5 percent, 6.8 percent), and the Philippines (6.0 percent, 6.2 percent).
Cambodia’s inflation is expected to be 3.0 percent and 4.0 percent in 2023 and 2024—the third lowest in the region.
