1. Agricultural Export Performance: January-October 2025
Cambodia’s agricultural sector generated over USD 4.18 billion in export revenue during the first ten months of 2025, a 28.57% increase compared to the same period in 2024. Exports reached 90 international markets, with a total volume of 11.89 million tonnes. In October alone, exports totalled 670.10 tonnes, worth about USD 1.25 million.
Compared to the same period in 2024, Cambodia’s crop exports increased by about 2.64 million tonnes. Paddy rice exports grew by 1.98 million tonnes, non-rice crop exports rose by 465,132 tonnes, and milled rice exports increased by 191,910 tonnes.

- Paddy rice: More than USD 1.09 billion (26% of total)

Sea Exports to Thailand
Following Thailand’s closure of certain land border checkpoints, Cambodia exported 2,398.29 tonnes of agricultural products to Thailand by water routes, valued at over USD 7 million, from June 24 to the end of October 2025.
Cambodia exported USD 260.19 million worth of non-rice products to Thailand during the ten-month period, representing 6.22% of total agricultural exports. No paddy rice was exported to Thailand during this timeframe.
Cambodia Wins ‘World’s Best Rice’ Award for Seventh Consecutive Year
Cambodia’s “Angkor Jasmine” rice was crowned ‘World’s Best Rice’ for the seventh consecutive time at the World Rice Conference 2025, held in Phnom Penh from November 7 to 9, 2025.

Cambodia maintained its position as Vietnam’s largest raw cashew supplier in 2025, exporting nearly one million tonnes valued at over USD 1.47 billion in the first ten months—the highest level since 2022.

Overall, Cambodia’s agricultural sector shows a pattern of volume growth paired with quality positioning. Cashew export value increased 39% year-on-year while volume grew 18.5%, indicating price gains beyond volume expansion. The sector is shifting toward processed products, with dried cassava and cassava starch growing over 60% compared to declining fresh cassava exports.
