Michael Tan is the Founder and CEO of Aquarii, bringing over 20 years of diplomatic and business experience across Asia. As Singapore’s Ambassador to Cambodia (2016–2020), and with prior postings in Myanmar, South Korea, and Japan, he has built a strong reputation for integrity, strategic thinking, and cross-cultural understanding.
Now based in Phnom Penh, Michael leverages his extensive networks in government, business, and civil society to help foreign investors and businesses navigate Cambodia’s evolving landscape. His diplomatic expertise and networking experience strengthen Aquarii’s service delivery in strategic communication, local market analysis, business strategy development and relationship building. This approach, combined with Singaporean standards of professionalism and trust, forms the foundation of Aquarii’s mission to drive meaningful partnerships and investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
